Ingredients
Beta-carotene, also known as pro-vitamin A, can be converted into vitamin A when additional levels are required. Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin and is part of a family of compounds including retinol, retinal and beta-carotene. Vitamin A supports healthy eyes and the immune system.
Vitamin B1
Thiamin supports carbohydrate metabolism and healthy nervous system. It participates in the metabolism of energy and helps maintain the healthy function of the cardiovascular system.
Vitamin B2
Vitamin B2 is a water-soluble vitamin that promotes the normal processing of amino acids and fats, functioning as a cofactor in activating vitamin B6 and folic acid, and plays a role in turning food into energy. It also promotes healthy red blood cell formation and supports the nervous system.
Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide)
Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for many aspects of health. It promotes skin health and it is important for the conversion of food to energy. Niacinamide (also known as vitamin B3) is found in dairy products, poultry, fish, lean meats, nuts and eggs as well as legumes and enriched breads and cereals.
Folic Acid
Folic acid is mainly found in fruits and vegetables. Dark leafy greens, oranges, orange juice, beans and peas are the best sources, as well as Brewer’s yeast, which supplies additional B-vitamins. Folic acid and B12 support the formation of healthy red blood cells. Folic acid is a component of co-enzymes.
Calcium Pantothenate (Vitamin B5)
Calcium pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) is used in the release of energy, as well as in the metabolism of fats, proteins and carbohydrates.
Vitamin B6
Poultry, fish, whole grains and bananas are the main dietary sources of vitamin B6. Some athletic supplements include vitamin B6 because it aids in the conversion of glycogen to glucose which can them be used for energy by muscle tissue. Vitamin B6 helps to support cardiovascular health.
Biotin
Biotin is a part of the B-vitamin family. Biotin can be found in food sources, such as egg yolks, peanuts, beef liver, milk (10 mcg/cup), cereals and almonds. Biotin supports energy metabolism.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 is found in meats, liver, beef, pork, eggs, whole milk, cheese, whole wheat bread and fish. Vitamin B12 can be found in animal products, with small amounts derived from fermented soy products such as miso and tempeh, and peanuts. It is important that individuals who are not able to obtain adequate amounts through diets can consider consuming a vitamin B12 supplement. Vitamin B12 helps to maintain energy levels and supports healthy nervous system.
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is an essential nutrient for humans. Vitamin C in the typical diet comes from fresh fruits and vegetables. Peppers — sweet green, red, hot red or green chili peppers — are especially rich in vitamin C. Other good sources include citrus fruits and juices, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, collards, mustard greens, broccoli, spinach and strawberries.
Vitamin C supports a healthy immune system and provides antioxidant protection. It also helps with the healthy growth of bones and teeth. The body does not manufacture vitamin C on its own. Therefore, Vitamin C must come from the diet and supplementation.
Vitamin D3
Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin that is found in some foods and it is produced by the body when sunlight strikes the skin and activates the process by which it is made. Regular sunlight exposure is the main way that most humans get vitamin D3. Low vitamin D3 levels can most often be attributed to long hours indoors, excessive use of sun protectant, low dietary intake or impaired absorption. Deficiency has been linked to numerous health concerns. Vitamin D promotes the absorption of calcium and phosphorus and supports the production of several proteins involved in calcium absorption and storage. Vitamin D works with calcium to promote strong bones.
Vitamin E
Sources of dietary vitamin E include vegetable oils, margarine, nuts, seeds, avocados and wheat germ. Safflower oil contains large amounts of vitamin E and there are trace amounts in corn oil and soybean oil. The main health benefit of vitamin E comes from its immune supporting antioxidant activity. Vitamin E is one of the fat-soluble antioxidants in the body.
Calcium
Calcium is found in milk, cheese, yogurt, corn tortillas, Chinese cabbage (Napa), kale and broccoli. Calcium is an essential mineral with a wide range of biological roles. Calcium is needed for maintaining healthy bones. The skeleton has an obvious structural requisite for calcium as well as acts as a storehouse for calcium. Apart from being a major constituent of bones and teeth, calcium supports healthy muscle function.
Copper
The richest sources of dietary copper are organ meats, seafood, nuts, seeds, wheat bran cereal, whole grain products and cocoa products. Copper is an essential trace mineral. It supports nerve and immune health.
Chromium
Chromium is a trace mineral found naturally in some cereals, meats, poultry, brewer’s yeast, broccoli, prunes mushrooms, fish and beer.
Manganese
Manganese is a mineral found in large quantities in both plant and animal matter. The most valuable dietary sources of manganese include whole grains, nuts, leafy vegetables and teas. Manganese is concentrated in the bran of grains, which is often removed during processing. It supports healthy connective tissue and bones.
Magnesium
Magnesium is a component of the mineralised part of bone. It also promotes the normal mobilisation and transportation of calcium, for further utilisation. It also supports in maintaining healthy muscle.
Importantly, magnesium also supports the body’s ability to build healthy bones and teeth and promotes proper muscle development. Magnesium also promotes cardiovascular health. Magnesium supports the normal release of energy from food during metabolism and proper nerve function.
Foods rich in magnesium include unpolished grains, nuts and green vegetables. Green, leafy vegetables are sources of magnesium.
Iodine
Iodine is in most seafood and in iodised salt. The trace element supports more than a hundred enzyme systems such as energy production, nerve function and hair and skin growth. It is a necessary component of thyroid hormones and helps maintain healthy metabolism.
Iron (Pyrophosphate, SunActive® Fe)
Iron is found in citrus fruits, tomatoes, beans, peas, fortified bread and grain products such as cereal (non-heme iron sources). Beef, liver, organ meats and poultry comprise the heme iron sources. The heme iron sources are more absorbable than the non-heme type of iron. Iron is an essential mineral and a component of haemoglobin, the protein that carries oxygen in the blood. It is also a component of myoglobin, another protein that carries oxygen in muscle tissue. Iron promotes normal red blood cell formation.
SunActive® Fe is a registered trademark of Taiyo International, Inc.
Potassium
Potassium is an essential mineral that helps maintain fluid balance in the body. It also supports a wide variety of biochemical and physiological processes. Potassium supports healthy muscle function. Foods rich in potassium include bananas, oranges, cantaloupe, avocado, raw spinach, cabbage and celery.
Selenium
The best dietary sources of selenium include nuts, unrefined grains, brown rice, wheat germ and seafood.
Zinc
Zinc is largely found in fortified cereals, red meats, eggs, poultry and certain seafood, including oysters. It is a component of multiple enzymes and proteins. Zinc is an essential trace mineral that has functions in many different enzyme reactions. Thus, zinc plays a part in almost all biochemical pathways and physiological processes.
It has been claimed that zinc supports normal immune health. Because zinc is involved in such a great number of enzymatic processes, it has been found to support a large range of functions including supporting protein synthesis.
Bilberry Extract
Bilberry extract is derived from the leaves and berry-like fruit of a common European shrub closely related to the blueberry. Extracts of the ripe berry are known to contain flavonoid pigments known as anthocyanins, which are powerful antioxidants. Anthocyanins supports healthy vision and venous circulation. Bilberry extract helps maintain healthy circulation.
Citrus Bioflavonoid Complex
Bioflavonoids are antioxidants found in certain plants. They promote cardiovascular health, while helping to maintain healthy circulation.
Grape Seed Extract
Grape seed extract is typically extracted from the seeds of red grapes (instead of white), which have a high content of compounds known as oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs). Grape seed extract is rich in polyphenols, compounds with high antioxidant activity.

What sets Isotonix OPC-3 apart from other products?
Isotonix OPC-3 offers scientifically research OPCs. In addition to being antioxidants, these individual OPCs have been shown to provide a myriad of specific health benefits. This science-driven selection of OPCs is unique to OPC-3, as is the Isotonix delivery system, which enables rapid and efficient absorption of the OPCs.

I was putting the powder into my morning juice vitamin mix.
Leslie mentioned that putting it in water IS tasty as well.
